Northfield Public Schools

Northfield Public Schools was undergoing significant transitions that included a future bond referendum to ensure that the school district had the resources to effectively educate the youth and families it served. Up until the time Neuger began working with Northfield Public Schools, the district had a very scattered approach to communicating with the community. Each principal took their own approach to communications, and there was a distinct lack of consistency throughout the district, leading to a hazy and uncertain position in the minds of the people most important to them – parents, students, faculty and staff, and the community.
Neuger met with school leadership and held a series of focus groups so the district could better understand where they stood relative to thoughts, perspectives and needs from key stakeholders. We also conducted an audit of existing communications tools and approaches to assess where there were voids and confusion. Finally, we articulated the brand for the district and created a new logo. Additionally, a brand guide was created to ensure that the brand was built upon consistently throughout the district.

The community better understood the Northfield School District, its priorities and how key audiences could support and build a cohesive brand that best served the school district and its community members. Ultimately, the branding process led to:
