She, Her, Hers
May joined our team in 2024 after graduating from Winona State University in 2022 with a degree in I-Design and a focus in business and marketing. With a strong foundation in both creative design and strategic thinking, she brings a well-rounded perspective to every project she is part of.
As a designer, May specializes in illustration, print production, web design, branding and advertising. She has an eye for color palettes and typography, ensuring every piece is visually cohesive and aligned with brand standards. With a strong focus on details, she thoughtfully guides each concept from initial idea through final production, making her a trusted and collaborative member of the team.
After volunteering with AIGA (the Professional Association for Design) during her college years, she continues to contribute at the state level as the Associate Director of Student Affairs and Portfolio 1-on-1 Co-chair. In these roles, she is committed to supporting emerging designers and helping to ensure the next generation of design professionals is prepared for successful careers.

May looks forward to her annual trips to Lutsen, MN with her family each summer. As a child, she and her family would spend 1-2 months there every year, and now it’s the time they gather together as they all live in different cities. During these trips, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, painting, and most importantly, spending quality time with loved ones.

Three things on her desk include a Polaroid frame with photos of her husband and college roommate, a tiny plush gecko, and two mini ceramic cats that belonged to her grandma.

She loves creating art and experimenting with new crafts. In the winter, she enjoys downhill skiing, while in the summer, she spends as much time as possible outdoors.
