Interactive Mailer Design for Ziegler CAT

Ziegler CAT, a family-owned heavy equipment dealer serving the Upper Midwest, was looking to introduce a new line of paving equipment manufactured by Weiler. Our team collaborated with Ziegler to develop an elevated print piece that was attention-grabbing and interactive.

The Challenge

With the introduction of a new brand, Ziegler was presented with the opportunity to expand awareness of their product offering with existing and past customers, as well as to untapped prospects. To effectively build sales, this communication needed to educate the recipient about the product itself, as well as Ziegler’s value and product support.

Strategy

To kick off the campaign, which would include one-on-one and consultations and in-person events, Ziegler chose to communicate the launch via a targeted direct mail piece. The design needed to encourage interaction, promote a giveaway offer to drive consultations and provide educational information on the product.

Results

Neuger developed a 6” x 9” convertible mailer to emphasize the wide range of applications, highlighting the dimensions, performance and reliability of the pavers. The cover’s die-cut window gave the effect of pavement coming from the machine and encouraged the recipient to actively engage with the content. Inside recipients found a tip card with details on a free gift with consultation and a booklet with Ziegler’s value proposition and product specifications.
