Imagine Colleges, a group of private, four-year colleges affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA), collaborated with Neuger on a new webinar series geared toward potential students and their families.

The Challenge

Imagine Colleges, a group of private, four-year colleges affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA), piloted a program to offer college admissions advice via webinars to students as they launched their college search process. As a new program, the webinar series had no previous data or history to draw upon. The topics, timing and messaging were all brand new – and the digital campaign was built from scratch based on foundational demographic characteristics.

The Strategy

Neuger developed the outreach strategy and creative assets necessary to reach students and their families. Campaigns were delivered via Facebook, Instagram and Google Ads. Using a variety of search criteria, the campaign targeted students near participating schools and was supported by email outreach to local congregations.

The Results

With a $2,000 investment, the client generated 237 leads and 50 participants in this initial campaign. If one student attends an ELCA college or university from this campaign, they will have made a $28,000 ROI on the effort. The initial campaign also refined key criteria to strengthen targeting and outreach for the next round of advertising.
