The Situation

Gemini has been a front-runner in the sign industry since 1963. Today, it’s the world’s largest manufacturer of dimensional letters. Recently, Gemini has aimed to improve the functionality of its website and streamline the ordering process for its lines of custom plaques.

The Communications Challenge

Seeking to expedite the ordering process for their complex product line, Gemini requested a feature on their custom plaques website that would allow customers to determine the materials, features and options that match their budgets before calling a customer service representative. Under the time pressure of a quickly approaching trade show, Neuger Communications Group took on the challenge without delay.


Neuger Communications Group designed and developed an online estimate generator, condensing five custom plaque lines, more than 20 price grids, and hundreds of specification options from Gemini’s print catalog. A product price database was also attached to the system, making the price updating process quicker and easier.


The estimate generator was successfully launched prior to the deadline. Despite a tight timeline, it is intuitive, functional and attractive. Gemini’s customer service lines are now more efficient than ever. Since the launch, Gemini has seen a consistent increase in new customer sales and heard nothing but positive responses from existing customers. In just five months, the estimate generator system has been viewed more than 4,000 times and has facilitated every custom order. Now that deserves a plaque!
