Neuger Communications Group, a full-service strategic communications firm specializing in marketing communications and public relations, has announced the next Common Good Breakfast Series event, “Connecting Our Generations,” slated for Thursday, February 23. Panelists, including Elizabeth Hang of Robert Half Management Resources, Molly Nelson of C.H. Robinson and Libby Starling of the Metropolitan Council, will offer perspectives on how our generations can best work together as well as strategies and tools to promote productive interactions in the workplace.
Elizabeth Hang is division director of HR Services for Robert Half Management Resources, a premier provider of senior-level finance, accounting and business systems professionals for companies’ project and interim staffing needs. In this role, she oversees the HR Services team in the Bloomington, Minn., office and works to provide skilled senior-level professionals on a project or interim basis. With 16 years in the staffing and recruiting industry, Hang brings a wealth of experience to executives, professionals, business owners and other clients in need of staffing assistance. She began her tenure with Robert Half Management Resources as client services director in 2006, before moving into her current role as HR Services division director in 2011.
Molly Nelson is Senior Employee Relations Specialist at C.H. Robinson Worldwide. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Nelson has spent several years working in human resources, specifically in employee relations coaching leaders on performance improvement, absence management, and involuntary terminations. More specifically her time is spent investigating claims of discrimination, harassment and compliance related issues. She responds directly to Equal Employment Opportunity Commission claims from current and or previous employees and has experience with a wide variety of employee related matters.
Libby Starling is the Manager of Regional Policy and Research for the Metropolitan Council. She has been the project manager for Thrive MSP 2040, (the Metropolitan Council’s 30-year regional plan), Choice, Place and Opportunity: An Equity Assessment of the Twin Cities, and the Council’s recently-adopted 2040 Housing Policy Plan. Starling also manages the collection and analysis of key data about the demographic and development patterns of the Twin Cities region. Prior to joining the Council, Starling served as the Research and Evaluation Director for Minnesota Housing and the Director of Policy, Planning and Measures at the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development.

The Common Good Breakfast Series contributes proceeds from this event to nonprofit organizations featured at each session. This event’s proceeds will benefit Children’s Defense Fund–MN.
