Renewable energy will be the focus on April 23, when the Common Good Breakfast Series convenes the next event in its quarterly business networking series. The series spotlights today’s compelling issues of the common good, and how our most innovative businesses and nonprofits are responding to the challenge.
Conversations about renewable energy sources are growing and will only heat up as our energy demands increase and the limits of some of our traditional energy sources are revealed. New technologies are becoming more and more accessible, and Minnesota utilities are working to meet their mandate of providing 25 percent of their total electrical generation from renewable sources by the year 2025.
“Rethinking Energy ‒ New Paradigms” will be held on Thursday, April 23, at the Hilton Minneapolis in downtown Minneapolis, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. The program costs $40, with proceeds going to support a featured nonprofit organization to be announced.
Save the date and plan to attend to learn more about the latest innovations in renewable energy, which technologies make the most economic sense and what leaders are doing now. Registration, breakfast and networking start at 7:30 a.m., with the formal program running from 8 to 9 a.m.
The Common Good Breakfast Series is presented by Neuger Communications Group. Series presenters are working for the common good, making the region a better place for all of us.
