Connect with Leah

Let’s come right out with it: Leah does it all. She’s a team leader, overseeing creative work for a variety of clients. She is adept at planning advertising, media and overall communications campaigns that are tailored to client goals. She’s also a skilled writer, a keen-eyed proofreader and editor, and a creative and organized event planner. In addition to her work with clients, Leah is charged with overseeing the firm’s internal project management system – essential software for managing the increased workflow that has come as a result of the firm’s rapid growth.

A graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, Leah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies and management. She joined Neuger Communications Group as an intern in 2004 and rapidly made herself indispensible.

Born and raised in Northfield, Leah lives with her husband, Matthew, and their sons, Isaac, Noah and Eli, and daughter, Ella. She is a passionate volunteer, serving on the board of directors at Northfield Montessori and Northfield Enterprise Center. In addition, she and Matthew fill their days with the activities that their children enjoy: coloring, walks to the playground and tossing balls. When she can find a rare moment to spare, she enjoys reading and sewing.

Favorite beverage: My hands-down favorite beverage is milk (you didn’t expect that, did you?). It’s a bit hard to come by at the office, though, so most of the time you’ll find me drinking water or Coke.

Every year I look forward to: Every year I look forward to the month of September. The weather is perfect, and even though I’m no longer a student, it’s hard to beat the excitement of a new school year and the promise it holds.

Favorite office tradition: One of my favorite office traditions is our annual Winter Walk party. What a great treasure to mix clients, family and friends in beautiful downtown Northfield. And the cookies! Yum!

See What Our Values Mean to Leah+

Honesty above all – it’s the only way we do business. And, to tell you the truth, it’s not really all that difficult when it’s the only option available. At the end of the day I leave the office feeling good and knowing that I’ve achieved transparency in all instances.

My job as a proofreader demands excellence. It means going the extra mile. It means checking a phone number over and over again, from piece to piece, just to be sure we’ve got it right. I’m a competitor at heart, and I absolutely want to achieve the best in all circumstances.

Success is closure. It’s a great feeling, no doubt, but it doesn’t come without hard work. Like many, I consider myself addicted to success. But more than that, I consider myself addicted to hard work. For me, the journey to success is equally (and oftentimes more!) satisfying.
