The Situation

A Swedish-based manufacturer wanted to assess customer preference for a software partner.

Strategy

We developed and conducted an intensive interview-based research project with cancer and radiology providers around their software solutions for cancer treatment. We spoke with the dosimetrists in medical oncology departments at major cancer centers, state and private hospitals, and radiology treatment centers in 20 cities as part of the interview process. Prescheduled interviews were typically one-half hour to one-hour interviews.

Results

As a result of this work and other financial due diligence, the client had the direct market information they needed to act on their acquisition plan.
