Leah J. Rich
Communications Counselor & Media Specialist

Leah is responsible for many of our media and advertising placement efforts, expertly pitching client stories to appropriate media, creating thoughtful, targeted ad plans, and negotiating ad purchases. She is a skilled writer, a keen-eyed proofreader and editor, and a creative and organized event planner. In addition to her work with clients, Leah is charged with overseeing the firm’s internal project management system, software that has proven to be extraordinarily useful in managing the increased workflow that has come as a result of the firm’s rapid growth.
A graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, Leah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies and management. She joined Neuger Communications Group as an intern in 2004 and rapidly made herself indispensible. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in the Gustavus library’s periodicals department, which helped familiarize her with a wide variety of publications. She has also excelled in a number of customer service positions, experience that lends itself well to the firm’s commitment to delighting its clients.
Born and raised in Northfield, Leah now lives in Dundas, Minnesota, with her husband, Matthew, and their young son. She is a passionate volunteer, serving as the ministry coordinator for her church’s early childhood program and chairing 5th Bridge’s “Feed My Starving Children” initiative in Northfield. In addition, she and her husband fill their days with those activities that their one-year-old enjoys: Play-Doh, walks to the playground and tossing balls. When she can find a rare moment to spare, she enjoys reading and sewing.
